Welcome to Steve Benson's A Point In Time Photography Gallery |
|
Close-up picture of McArthur-Burney Falls at McArthur-Burney Falls State Park. Since the falls flows over an ancient lava flow the water filters through the porous volcanic rock framing the falls on either side with walls of 'mini-falls'.
This picture of McArthur-Burney Falls was taken from an overlook at the top of the trail leading down to the falls.
Burney Creek dramatically cascades over McArthur-Burney Falls on its way to Britton
Lake quietly nestled in a nearby depression.
There wasn't a whisper of a breeze the day I visited the park as can be seen by the
mirror-like reflection in Britton Lake's still waters.
This exhibit is not finished yet, thank you for your patience.
