Genocide is the subject for this poster which is made up of several photographs taken in the various named areas where genocide has occured. The photographs used are from various media sources, none of which were taken by me.

The poster is framed by many, but not all, of the places where acts of genocide have occurred. In the center you'll find the definition of the word 'Genocide', which didn't exist prior to 1944 when Raphael Lemkin first coined the term.

Its a shame humanity ever had need to create such a word, let alone that it's still needed.

This was a digital photography class assignment to combine a picture of the student (myself) and a famous character. Poor Yoda and I were mixed, much to the dismay of all Star Wars fans, to produce 'Steveda, the all seeing one'.
